Statues in Pompeii - 3D Scan Showcase

I recently visited Pompeii for the first time in my life and got inspired to create this very quick piece. I wanted to challenge myself by just using a scan and some pictures I took around the ruins, this is meant to showcase how you can quickly turn a scan into a somewhat usable asset in any game engine. Hope y'all enjoy it, if you got any questions, fire away in the comments, pms or contact me on LinkedIn!

I use Meshroom as my go to photogrammetry tool: it's free, it's easy to use and has a very flexible node system.

After reducing the polycount, adding a cleaner and more efficient UV set and re-projecting the color texture I then brought the model into Substance Painter.
I do this to fill in the missing parts of the scans with a generic rock.

Back into Blender, I created some quick LODs with the Decimate modifier and created two variations of a broken statue using a generic rock material and the Boolean modifier.
